The China-U.S. Youth Innovation Exchange Camp officially opened at Hainan University on July 27. Co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province and the Hainan Youth Federation, close to 40 young participants from different U.S. universities embarked on a seven-day exchange program in Hainan.

During the program, the delegation will visit Haikou, Lingshui, Wuzhishan, Sanya, and Baoting to explore Hainan’s distinct intangible cultural heritage. They will also tour the National University Science Park at Hainan Normal University and innovative high-tech enterprises to gain a broad understanding of the innovation momentum generated by the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) since the launch of special customs operations.

The itinerary also features the Haikou Innovation Forum · Haikou International Salon, offering a platform for Chinese and American youth to engage in in-depth discussions on emerging trends in science and technology innovation and explore new opportunities for cooperation in the Hainan FTP.
