On Mar. 30, a press conference was held to announce that the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) will be held from April 13–18 in Hainan Province. Over 3,400 brands from over 60 countries and regions will be on display, with over 65% coming from international brands, a 20% increase in international brand participation over the previous Expo.

Canada, this year’s Guest of Honor, will have a nearly 400 m² national pavilion showcasing a wide variety of products including cosmetics, agricultural products, and health supplements made by nearly 40 Canadian companies. Official delegations from twelve countries and regions including Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Ireland will attend, while Russia and Bulgaria will set up national pavilions at the CICPE for the first time.

Over the past five years, over 3,800 companies from 92 countries and regions have exhibited more than 12,000 brands at the CICPE. The number of Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders has risen from 30 in the first Expo to 65 in the fifth Expo, and the total number of domestic and foreign purchasers has exceeded 230,000. Up to now, more than 70 leading enterprises have settled in Hainan after participating in the CICPE.
