Feng Fei Welcomes Delegation from Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Kansai to Hainan

Feng Fei, Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, met with a delegation from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Kansai of Japan (Kansai CCC), headed by its executive vice president KeiAkiyama, on July 21 in Haikou, the capital of Hainan Province.  

Feng Fei welcomed the visiting delegation and provided them with an overview of the Hainan Free Trade Port(FTP)s development. He stated that Hainan is currently advancing full steam with preparations for special customs operations, constructing a modern industrial system with Hainan characteristics and advantages, and continuing the improvement of consumer spending in high-end retail, healthcare, and education. These efforts, he continued, will contribute to Hainans transformation into a key open gateway spearheading Chinas opening up and reform in the new era. He emphasized that Hainan attaches great importance to the development of foreign-funded enterprises in the province and hopes that the Kansai CCC can leverage its bridging role and the technical innovation strengths of Kansai enterprises to advance pragmatic bilateral cooperation in fields such as health and wellness and food trade. He added that Hainan will continue to provide excellent services and create an optimal businessenvironment for all enterprises.

KeiAkiyamastated that his delegations visit to Hainan has enabled them to fully appreciate the brimming vitality of the Hainan FTPs development. He expressed that Kansai CCC would give full play to its resource integration and bridging roles, and broadly promote the development achievements and open policies of the Hainan FTP to strengthen bilateral economic and trade links and achieve win-win, mutual development.

Xie Jing, Vice Governor of Hainan Province, was also in attendance.
