A 20-person delegation from Wuzhishan City in China's southern Hainan Province, which includes the Li and Miao Children's Choir of Wuzhishan City, will embark on a five-day visit to Paris, France, from May 7 to 12 as part of efforts to further bolster regional exchanges. The delegation will participate in exchange activities centered on areas including musical education, cultural tourism, investment promotion, and intangible cultural heritage protection, with the children's choir taking part in the "Sino-French Children's Choir Friendship Bridge" event.

The "Friendship Bridge" will be the third such friendly exchange between France and Wuzhishan since 2023. Last year, the Paris Polysons Choir (Le Choeur des Polysons) and Li and Miao Children's Choir of Wuzhishan City had the opportunity to spend time and make music with each other on two separate occasions, with each choir making a visit to the other's respective homeland.

The two choirs will participate in various events, including a visit to a music workshop, holding chamber concerts, and attending the Sino-French Music Festival. The children from Wuzhishan will also have the opportunity to attend music classes at a local primary school in Paris and experience a different style of musical education.
