The 11th China-Arab Business Conference and the 9th Investment Seminar of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum opened in Haikou, the capital of southern China's Hainan Province, on April 28. Representing China at the conference were Mr. Jiang Zuojun, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Mr. Xi Guohua, Chairman of CITIC Group. Attending guests from Arab nations included Dr. Khaled Hanafi, Secretary-General of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the Arab Countries, and Mr. Ahmed Mustafa Fahmy, Head of the League of Arab States Representative Office in China. Provincial leaders, including Mr. Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Committee, and Mr. Liu Xiaoming, Governor of Hainan Province, were also present.

The four-day conference, co-hosted by CCPIT, the People’s Government of Hainan Province, the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the Arab Countries, is held under the theme "Forging Five Cooperation Frameworks to Accelerate the Building of a China-Arab Community with a Shared Future". Together, the conference will delve into four key topics: "Advancing Energy Transformation to Foster Ecological Sustainability", "Deepening Scientific and Technological Innovation to Drive Industrial Upgrading", "Integrating Culture and Tourism to Boost Consumption", and "Strengthening Financial Cooperation to Achieve Mutual Benefits and Win-Win".
