On the morning of March 12, Dai Zhen, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province, held a meeting with Nowotniak and his delegation. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Hainan and Poland.

Dai provided an update on the latest developments in the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) and proposed that Hainan and Poland enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, agriculture, education, and sisterhood relations. She expressed the hope that the Consulate General would encourage Polish enterprises to leverage the FTP's preferential policies in taxation, trade, and investment, as well as key platforms like the China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) to expand their presence in Hainan. She further emphasized that the Foreign Affairs Office is willing to work with the Consulate General to deepen friendly exchanges and promote practical cooperation between Hainan and Poland.

Nowotniak noted that Poland and Hainan share a long history of exchanges. He agreed on the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed the Consulate General's commitment to acting as a bridge to promote the Hainan FTP's policies to Polish businesses. He also mentioned plans to coordinate with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency to organize business delegations to participate in events like the CICPE and encourage Polish enterprises to invest and develop in Hainan.

During their visit, the Polish delegation also met with officials from the Haikou Foreign Affairs Office for further discussions and exchanges.
