On November 14, Jiang Xiongbiao, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province, met with Efstathios Andreou, Cousul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou. Both sides agreed to deepen pragmatic cooperation across multiple sectors, including people to people exchanges, sisterhood relations, climate change, architectural planning and design, and free trade zone(port) development.

Efstathios Andreou became Consul General of the Netherlands in Guangzhou in August 2023, and this was his first visit to Hainan.
